Overview
Rachelle Chaudoir, the Magizoologist in charge of the camp, tells you of the creatures they have been studying in the Deep Forest. However, she grows distressed as she talks about Hippogriffs being affected by the recent fighting between allegiances. She asks you to aid her in feeding and caring for an injured Hippogriff.
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak with the Rachelle Chaudoir NPC inside of the Magizoology camp in the Deep Forest.
Dialogue
- [1/4] Ooh a visitor! Hello and welcome to the Magizoology Camp! I'm Rachelle Chaudoir, though I'm sure you recognize me from my trending magizoology field guides.
- [2/4] I'm stationed here with the rest of the crew to study the creatures of the Deep Forest. Though unfortunately these irrelevant idiots have been interfering with our work!
- [3/4] For whatever stupid reason, Auralocks, Dark Followers, AND Phoenixes have camps set up here in the Deep Forest. Their constant bickering is hurting the creatures! Currently, there is a poor Hippogriff that we are helping recover from a broken wing after a horrendously aimed curse hit them.
- [4/4] That reminds me, I was supposed to be on duty to do the chores for them today! I have so much to do today though... Say- do you think you could help me out by feeding the Hippogriff? I promise it will be fun!
Objective 1 - Feed the Hippogriff
Description
Gather [5 Werewolf Bone] by killing Werewolves and [5 Boglog Fin] by killing Boglogs to cook [1 Hippogriff Feed]. Then, feed the Hippogriff before returning to Rachelle.
Dialogue
- [1/3] Thanks so much for feeding the Hippogriff! I hate getting the slimy Boglog fins all over my hands.
- [2/3] On a related note, I have a meeting I need to attend to come up with how to deal with some problematic Boglogs in the area. If you have the time to spare, could you clean out the Hippogriff enclosure as well?
- [3/3] Here take this [1 Shovel] and [1 Water Bucket] to clean out the Hippogriff's enclosure. You'll also need to get [5 Hay] from nearby bales.
Objective 2 - Clean the Hippogriff Enclosure
Description
Use the [1 Shovel] and [1 Water Bucket] given to you by Rachelle as well as [5 Hay] from the nearby bales to clean out the Hippogriff's enclosure.
Dialogue
- [1/3] The Hippogriff enclosure looks spotless! I suppose that since you've done all the dirty work, I should let you do the most fun task of all!
- [2/3] The Hippogriff needs to be flown to strengthen his wing again. You can go ahead and take him for a flight!
- [3/3] You ready to get flying?
Objective 3 - Take the Hippogriff for a Flight
Description
Go to the Hippogriff enclosure and take the Hippogriff for a flight.
Dialogue
- [1/3] They attacked that poor innocent Hippogriff AGAIN?! Just you wait until I show those Dark Followers a piece of my mind.
- [2/3] Anyways, your help has been greatly appreciated and I'm so glad you came out of that unhurt.
- [3/3] We'll always be here if you ever want to consider a career in Magizoology! And please, feel free to use our side of the tunnel to the other camps.
Tips
- When cleaning out the Hippogriff enclosure, look for the holograms in order to find out what to do next! You’ll have to shovel out the enclosure, refill the water, and brush the Hippogriff.
- If you ever want to go for a fly on the Hippogriff again, you can talk to Rachelle after completing this quest.
- This quest unlocks another fast travel method.
