May the Fourth 2020

Overview

The annual May the Fourth event of 2020 was celebrated during the month of May 2020, commencing on the 3rd of May and ending on the 25th of May. The event was in celebration of Star Wars day and featured two minigames that players could partake in. Exclusive Star Wars-themed rewards were available to be purchased during this event.

Storyline

There was no specific storyline for this event.

Location

Players could visit the Falcon build located near the Hogsworth Boathouse. Here, they could speak to the Jayoda NPC to purchase rewards.

There were no side quests for this event.

Activities

There were two minigames that could be played during this event and were accessed through /games. These games were ‘Star Battle: Domination’ and ‘Star Racing’. Completing these minigames rewarded Star Tokens. Star Tokens were a form of event currency for the May the Fourth event and could be used to purchase exclusive rewards.

Star Battle: Domination

Players were divided into two groups: Imperials and Rebels. Upon being teleported into a lobby, players were able to choose from various kits they could use during the game. Players were rewarded with 1 Star Token for each kill. The main objective of the game was to try and capture three points around the map. Capturing a point would award a team with points.

Star Racing

Using a Racing Speeder Bike, players made their way through the map. There were checkpoints throughout the map where, when reached, players would receive items such as ‘Speeder C4 Bomb’, ‘Speeder Blaster’, ‘Thermal Grenade’ which they could use against other players.

For the May the Fourth event of 2020, Potterworld released nine items that could be purchased on the Potterworld Store. They were released on the 5th of May 2020 and included:

• Rebel Helmet
• Trooper Mask
• Pet R-Unit
• Pet Porgie
• Pet “Secret Package”

These items were all seasonal items and were available to purchase until the end of May 2020.
