Pride Festival 2020

Overview

The 2020 Pride Festival was an event that took place from June 5 until June 27th and was hosted to celebrate the LGBT+ community.

Storyline

There was no overarching storyline, rather this event was focused on one main quest and obtaining collectables.

Location

The majority of the 2020 Pride Festival took place at Hogsworth. Located at the Transfiguration Courtyard, players could walk around, enjoy the festival, and buy collectables.

Quests

Perfect Date

This was the main and only quest available during this event. The player needed to assist Dean in helping his friend Taylor in creating a perfect, and last-minute, date. Dean gave the player a checklist so they could track their progress on creating the date. The first task was to bake a cake. Players had to go down to the Kitchens and speak to the Cake Boss, then use his recipe to create a Homemade Cake. 

The player then had to go to the Greenhouses and speak to the Herbology professor to make a bouquet for Taylor’s date with Morgan. The professor gave the player instructions on how to grow an Orchid, a Rose, and a Dalia, which could then be made into the bouquet. Then the player had to go to the Laundry Room to speak to a house-elf to retrieve a picnic blanket. Finally, the player had to give all of the items to Taylor in the Transfiguration Courtyard.
