Overview
The other allegiances are trying to obtain the Nocen’s Bless, a magical plant with powerful properties. Help Rena and the Phoenixes defend the area where this plant is found!
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to the Rena NPC in the Deep Forest. She can be found in the Phoenix camp outside of a tent.
Dialogue -
- [1/5] I can't thank you enough for helping Ayla with her blood curse. And you did it! You found where Nocen's Bliss grows!
- [2/5] The Phoenixes want to allow it to continue to grow naturally before slowly harvesting it and using it to better the wizarding world. Of course if the Auralocks or Dark Followers found it, they would simply pick it all to use on their soldiers.
- [3/5] That's why it is so important that we defend it from those with poor intentions. I've read of a magical Totem of Protection that wards away any with ill intent.
- [4/5] Crafting the needed [4 Totem of Protection] would require you to gather [16 Enchanted Wood] by chopping trees in the Unicorn Forest, [4 Hippogriff Heart] by defeating Hippogriffs, and [4 Unicorn Eye] by defeating Unicorns.
- [5/5] Are you willing to help us ensure the plant doesn't fall into the wrong hands?
Objective 1 - Craft 4 Totems of Protection
Description -
Gather [16 Enchanted Wood] by chopping trees in the Unicorn Forest, [4 Hippogriff Heart] by defeating Hippogriffs, and [4 Unicorn Eye] by defeating Unicorns. Then, craft [4 Totem of Protection].
Dialogue -
- [1/2] You did a nice job crafting these, I couldn't have done better myself.
- [2/2] Go ahead and place the [4 Totem of Protection] near the ravine that the herb grows in.
Objective 2 - Place 4 Totems of Protection
Description -
Place the [4 Totem of Protection] near the Nocen's Bliss in the Boglog Swamp. Then, return to Rena in the Phoenix Camp.
Dialogue -
- [1/4] Good thing you placed them. I've received word that Auralocks are making their way over there...
- [2/4] I don't know if our defenses will be enough. We need a more permanent solution.
- [3/4] I have written up [1 Deep Forest Treaty] that agrees to split the Nocen's Bliss as we may destroy this precious resource in our fighting over it.
- [4/4] I know you have good rapport with both Draven Krauss and Captain Conrads. Please obtain both of their signatures on it.
Objective 3 - Obtain Draven Krauss's Signature
Description -
Obtain Draven Krauss, the leader of the Deep Forest Dark Follower Camp's signature on the [1 Deep Forest Treaty].
Dialogue -
- [1/5] No. A truce with both the Phoenixes and Auralocks goes against everything the Dark Followers stand for.
- [2/5] Though... perhaps there are conditions that would sway me to agree to this.
- [3/5] We stole- er, found this magical harp that had once belonged to some long-dead Lord of the Phoenixes.
- [4/5] It supposedly will produce a powerful magical artifact if the right strings are played.
- [5/5] Surely if the Phoenixes are so desperate for peace, they would allow us to keep this harp. I will sign it if you are able to successfully produce the object hidden inside of it.
Player completes Draven's task
- [1/2] Aha! We have finally obtained it…
- [2/2] Here's your signature or whatever. I won't attack the Phoenixes. We have other plans now.
Objective 4 - Obtain Captain Conrad's Signature and Return to Rena
Description -
Obtain Captain Conrad, the leader of the Deep Forest Auralock Camp's signature on the [1 Deep Forest Treaty]. Then, bring the signed treaty back to Rena in the Phoenix Camp.
Dialogue -
- [1/4] Hello again. Ah, the Dark Followers and Phoenixes are seeking to share the Nocen's Bliss.
- [2/4] It is imperative that we be able to retrieve enough of it to send to Merlin's Magical Hospital to be studied and re-grown, so the Auralocks will cooperate this once.
- [3/4] Our condition is that you assist us in packaging the Nocen's Bliss for delivery. And that the Phoenixes and Dark Followers do not intercept any of our owl deliveries.
- [4/4] Take this [1 Nocen's Bliss] over to our Postal Tent and package it, then give it to a delivery owl.
Player completes Captain Conrad's task
- [1/2] Thank you for delivering that. I am so glad that we were able to get some of the Nocen's Bliss to Merlin's Magical Hospital!
- [2/2] Now, I will sign the treaty so that there can be an end to this fighting.
Tips
- If you are having trouble finding the Unicorns and Hippogriffs, you can use the map on forums or /map in-game to find the coordinates to their locations!
- The Enchanted Wood is lit up in green particles! Make sure you have particles turned on for this objective.
- Plant Protection Program is part of a quest line! You can not start this quest until you complete Eyes on the Inside.
