Overview
Byrne, the famous captain of the Newcastle Elk Quabbleball team, is one of the biggest Quabbleball fans ever to grace the wizarding world, or, at least, that is what he tells everyone. Despite his cocky attitude and self-assured aura, Byrne is truly one of the most talented Quabbleball players in today’s league. Since he was a young Magical being raised in Kilkenny, he idolized the Newcastle Elk, and thus his parents enrolled him in the children’s league at the local abandoned-castle-turned-quabbleball-field so that someday he might be one of them and take the Irish National Team to the World Cups. Luckily, his dreams became a reality after years of practice and dedication. As the team captain, he pays attention to and coordinates every detail of the team to a nearly fanatical extent, much to the chagrin of his teammates. As a result, the moment that the Searcher of his team became sick, Byrne went out searching for a replacement for their upcoming game. To help Byrne push the Newcastle Elk further towards their goal of winning the Quabbleball World Cups, players meet him in Ireland during The Big Game quest.
