Vampires (Roleplay)

Overview

The Vampires are a club that is typically led by a Queen or King. The current Vampire Queen is Chailey Selwyn. The previously fallen community of Vampires are now being reunited and given a safe haven by Chailey. 

Roleplay Storyline

Below is the current roleplay storyline following the events with the Vampires.

Chapter 2

On October 6th, 2020, a local potions shop in Vertick Alley reported an explosion. When Auralock officials arrived at the scene, no suspects could be found. However, upon further investigation, the explosion was caused by a gas leak. The only individual in the shop at the time of the incident was Lucian Smith, the owner of the shop. He was declared dead by the Auralock officials investigating the scene. A few days after the incident at the potions shop, many began to report their animals as missing. The most common animals to go missing were the sheep, cows, and Lunarcalves. Most of the abductions left no traces, but one rancher noticed a deer that was shrivelled up. Others also reported their animals acting odd prior to the incident taking place.  

After the meeting between the Werewolves and the Auralocks, Chief Auralock Matt Griffiths was presented with a gift from Werewolf Alpha Kade Everard. Afterwards, the gift was reported to be taken by figures that resembled Vampires. These Vampires attacked the Auralock base in the process of taking the gift. This event was the first official sighting of the Vampires.

In a journal entry by Chailey, she wrote that she was on a mission for the Dark Followers prior to being turned into a Vampire. A rogue Vampire had attacked Chailey and her best friend. Fortunately for Chailey, she managed to survive. From that day on, Chailey vowed to create a safe place for the Vampires and unite them. 

A few days after the first sighting of the Vampires, Werewolf Alpha Kade Everard sent a letter to meet with Vampire Queen Chailey Selwyn. Both sides brought some followers in case a fight were to break out. The gift that was stolen was an ingredient needed by the Werewolves to create a cure. However, the Vampires refused to return the item, which resulted in war between the two clubs. 

The war between the Vampires and Werewolves lasted from October 23rd to October 30th, 2020. The followers of each club were in charge of helping their side win the war. Unfortunately, the Werewolves won the war with a lead of about 2500 Battle Points. The day after the war concluded, Werewolves and Vampires set another confrontation to retrieve the cure. It was revealed that Vampire Queen Chailey and Werewolf Beta Callie were twins, leading to further tension between the groups. Before the tension could break, a rogue Werewolf stole the cure and drank it, which led to their immediate death. As there was no reason to keep fighting against each other, the confrontation between the Vampires and Werewolves ended.

On March 7th, 2021, Chief Auralock Matt Griffiths announced a bounty on the Dark Hand. Along with the other allegiances and clubs, Vampires joined the hunt to receive the reward of the bounty. Chailey was questioned as to why she was hunting for the Dark Hand despite being a Dark Follower before. It was discovered that she did not trust their methods and was willing to stop them even if her sister, Sara Selwyn, was part of the group. A month after the bounty was announced, a letter was found, which hinted to the Dark Hand being in Longbay Landing. All of the allegiances and clubs, including the Vampires, arrived at the town on April 10th. In the midst of freeing the Dark Hand, it was found that a potion was unstable and would cause a large explosion. Certain ingredients had to be found in order to lessen its effects, but the process would be dangerous. Vampire Queen Chailey decided to locate them, quickly followed by the Vampire Count Aure Pendragon. In the end, Chailey was the only one able to return, marking the death of Aure Pendragon.

Vampire Base

To access the Vampire base, players can go to the Roleplay Hub and click the NPC that says “Vampire Base”. The base itself is a manor with multiple floors. There are many rooms and secret passages hidden throughout the manor. The walls and furniture are typically red or grey, which represents colours associated with Vampires. Along with the various rooms, the manor has a large library that has two floors. The Vampire base also has a dungeon area, which includes the coffin of the previous Vampire Count, Aure Pendragon.
