Overview
Wiggleworms are the beginnermost mob in Potterworld. Wiggleworms are a Level 1 mob ideal for wizards and witches who are just starting their magical journey. They do not require powerful spells or gear to defeat. These creatures can be found to the west of the Great Hall in a small courtyard. Their special mob drops are required in the quest Magical Cuisine Class and can be used for professions.
Wiggleworms get their name because of the fact that they use their whole body to wiggle around. They have a similar appearance to regular, non-magical worms and are often seen as unimportant. However, this mob is an important part in the magical food chain due to the countless magical birds that feed off them. Because of their small appearance, witches and wizards will accidentally step on them unaware that these creatures were even in their path.
Behaviour & Defence
Wiggleworms are a slow-moving, neutral mob. They will only start to attack a player if attacked first.
A Wiggleworm’s diet often consists of various plants that are native to their environment. Some examples include: grass blades, dandelions, sprouts, and fallen leaves. Due to their small size, they will burrow underground if there is a rainstorm, as the water droplets are much larger than them.
Wiggleworms have a health of 40 HP. They attack through contact damage, dealing 5 damage. These creatures have two special abilities, both known as a spit. One of their spit abilities is a swipe attack that swipes at a player and deals 18 damage. Wiggleworms can also utilise a poison spit attack, in which a worm will send a projectile of poison spit in the direction of the player, poisoning them for a short period of time if hit and dealing an initial 18 damage.
Multiple Wiggleworms can spawn at a time and all crawl towards a player to attack. While these creatures are a beginner mob, they can still deal quite a bit of damage to players first starting out. Constantly moving back and forth and side to side can help a player avoid being hit by a poison spit attack.
Habitat
Wiggleworms can usually be found living in fields, meadows, and patches of grass throughout the magical world. On Potterworld, these creatures are found in the small courtyard west of the Great Hall in Hogsworth. Asphodel Lvl. 1 plant nodes can also be found around the courtyard.
Defeat
As a Level 1 mob, Wiggleworms have the chance of dropping exclusive mob drops. These drops include Wiggleworm Egg, Wiggleworm Mucus, and Wiggleworm Skin. Additionally, like most other types of Level 1-10 mobs, they also have a rare chance of dropping Lvl 1-10 Gear Pieces. While their exclusive mob drops are used in the quest Magical Cuisine Class, they can also be used in the crafting of profession items such as the Dark Cocoacursed Delights I, Puffing Pod Tea I, and Cursed Brew I.
