Overview
Bethany Bernauer is very distraught after the funeral of her sister who was mysteriously killed. She hoped to bring a Phoenix Flower to her grave, as it was her sister’s favourite flower but is unable to. Do whatever you can to help Bethany find the Phoenix Flower.
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak to the Bethany Bernauer NPC, who is residing in her home in Griffin's Hollow.
Dialogue
- [1/6] Oh... I have a visitor? Welcome to Griffin's Hollow I guess.
- [2/6] It's usually much more cheerful around here, but my sister was recently killed. Her funeral was this morning.
- [3/6] I wasn't even able to leave her favourite flower on her grave. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
- [4/6] I miss her so much and just wanted it to be special... Say, you're a Hogsworth student right? Maybe you could help me out.
- [5/6] Her favourite flower, a Phoenix Flower, only grows at the very bottom of the darkest caves.
- [6/6] There's a cave up on the hill next to the main road leading north out of Griffin's Hollow. I've already checked it, but maybe there's a chance I missed something. Would you be willing to look again for me?
Objective 1 - Locate 1 Phoenix Flower
Description
Search the cave up on the hillside next to the path leading north out of Griffin's Hollow for [1 Phoenix Flower].
Objective 2 - Return to Bethany Bernauer
Description
Return to Bethany Bernauer's house in central Griffin's Hollow to give her [1 Phoenix Flower].
Dialogue
- [1/2] You actually found one! Thank you so much!
- [2/2] I am going to go put this on her grave. If only she were here to see it herself...
Tips
- Adorning the Grave is part of a questline. It is the very first quest in this line. If you do not complete Adorning the Grave, you will not be able to progress through the line of quests.
