Overview
Griffin’s Hollow is a town filled with magicals and Unmagicals. About 30% of the population is made up of Unmagicals. Griffin’s Hollow is known for its old-fashioned buildings and warmhearted residents. The quiet streets of this town are lined with cottages and shops. Due to the number of Unmagicals in Griffin’s Hollow, witches and wizards must only practise magic in secret. However, memory charms are learned in case Unmagicals see the use of magic.
Most families in Griffin’s Hollow know each other, and they’re welcoming to any newcomers. Whenever anyone passes away, the entire town is invited to mourn at the church. Additionally, many famous witches and wizards are buried at the church, which includes Henry Porter’s parents. Villagers also enjoy celebrating holidays together.
The Porter House can be found in Griffin’s Hollow, but it can only be seen by witches and wizards. There is an obelisk located in the centre of the town, which has names of Unmagicals that died in the war. This reveals itself as a sculpture of the Porter family to magicals that pass by it.
Players can find Griffin’s Hollow on the southern part of the map. The location can be unlocked at any level, but surrounding mobs are meant for players that are Level 40 and above. Flying on a broom would be the best way to get to Griffin’s Hollow.
This location does have access to the Crafting Centre and Tommy Riddle near the centre of the town. The Marketplace can be found on the western side of Griffin’s Hollow. On the southern part of the town, the Fire Dust Network can be accessed. The Bank, Shady Dealer, and Vendor can be found on the northern side of the location. The Griffin's Hollow Reputation taskboard is found outside of the Crafting Centre and to the left of Tommy Riddle.
Geography & Environment
Griffin’s Hollow holds a lot of nature. Many rivers flow through and around the town. Hills and forest areas surround Griffin’s Hollow. The climate can be warm for most of the year, but there are times where it can be quite cold.
Notable Locations
Porter Family Memorial
The most notable location in Griffin’s Hollow is the memorial for the Porter family. This memorial only appears to witches and wizards that pass by. Unmagicals only see the names of those who died in the war.

Creatures and Plants
Bowleaves, Emberskins, and Trolls can be found around Griffin’s Hollow. A Bowleaf is a twig-like creature that lives in forests south of Griffin’s Hollow. Emberskins are found in a burning town and look like black snakes with white stripes. Trolls can be located in the mountainous area, west of Griffin’s Hollow, and are green golem-like creatures. Additionally, Dittany Lvl. 40 and Nightshade Lvl. 40 can be found around Griffin’s Hollow. Players can use these plant nodes to craft profession recipes.
Hidden Chests
There are a few hidden chests throughout Griffin’s Hollow. These chests can be hidden behind blocks and places players may not expect. Chests give off blue particles, which can help players differentiate them from normal chests. The chests can be Tier 1-3 and can give more or less Gold depending on the tier. They give mob drops between Levels 41-50. Level 41-50 gear pieces and broom recipes can also be found in these chests.

- Ignatius Pendrell, the owner of the Cloak of Concealment was also born in Griffin’s Hollow.
- Residents of the town enjoy walking along the river that flows through the streets.
