Overview
Isabella Krauss was brought back from the brink of death by drinking unicorn blood. However, this came at a terrible price. She lives only a half-life and is incredibly weak and in pain. She mentions that there’s something powerful nearby that all three allegiances would like to obtain. She wonders if it would be able to help her and asks you to search for clues.
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak to Isabella Krauss in the Deep Forest. She can be found in a tent within the Dark Follower Camp.
Dialogue
- [1/4] H-Hello. My dad told me you were the one that got the unicorn blood for me. Thank you for saving me.
- [2/4] I'm not... myself anymore though. Those that drink unicorn blood are cursed to live only a half-life and I can feel myself growing weaker again.
- [3/4] I just want to be healthy again. I think there might be a way for me to remove this curse. I hear my father speaking to the rest about it in hushed voices.
- [4/4] They're definitely planning something, but they won't tell me what. Please, I need to know. Do you think you could snoop around in the Storage Tent and look for any clues or anything out of the ordinary for me?
Objective 1 - Look for Clues
Description
Investigate the Storage Tent to see if you can find out what Draven seems to be hiding from his daughter.
Objective 2 - Confront Draven
Description
Confront Draven about the secret room found in the Command Tent.
Dialogue
- [1/7] Ah... so you've been prying into Dark Follower business. Though, I suppose I do owe you a favour after you saved my daughter's life.
- [2/7] The reason we are in the Deep Forest is because it is rich with powerful creatures and magical herbs. One of those herbs though is much more valuable than the rest.
- [3/7] Nocen's Bliss is a magical herb that can cure any injury, illness, or curse. Of course I'm willing to go to whatever length to get some for my daughter... and my soldiers.
- [4/7] We've only just received intel that the Phoenixes have located the Nocen's Bliss and have some stored in their camp. We're planning to invade and take it for ourselves.
- [5/7] But, I think I just thought of a better idea. What if a simple Hogsworth student not affiliated with our past crimes were the one to retrieve it? You would be less conspicuous and could claim innocence if caught!
- [6/7] Us Dark Followers use a special form of magic that allows us to fly without brooms. I can assist you with this to get to the Phoenix Camp. We have also planted a Warpkey that you can use to return here once you have the herb.
- [7/7] Your mission is to get in, retrieve [1 Nocen's Bliss], and get out. Are you ready to begin flying?
Objective 3 - Infiltrate the Phoenix Camp
Description
Speak to Draven to begin flying towards the Phoenix Camp. Retrieve the [1 Nocen's Bliss], then return to the Dark Follower Camp and give it to Isabella.
Dialogue
- [1/2] Oh wow, this is what my father has been after this whole time?! I didn't imagine there would be a cure this perfect!
- [2/2] Thank you so much for helping me get rid of my curse.
Tips
- The elytra course may look difficult, but it is easier than it seems! Do your best to not fly into a tree or other obstacle, as you will lose your momentum.
- Curse Breaker is part of a quest line! You can not start this quest until you complete Any Means Necessary.
