Overview
The Half-Giant in the village of Haggleton requests your help in stopping a pack of rabid Werewolves. In order to take on the pack, you must create a quantity of magical canine-felling arrows using a secret recipe. Craft the arrows and defeat the impending Werewolf army.
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak with the Half-Giant NPC located in the village of Haggleton.
Dialogue
- [1/7] Oi! Friendly stranger! Take a second from your woes and concern yourself with ours!
- [2/7] Our friendly village here is in dire peril. A pack of rabid mangy Werewolves is rapidly approaching.
- [3/7] None of us possess the strength in magic to take them on. In order to pierce their hide, we'd need something more than just our meagre spells.
- [4/7] I was told once a legend in which some sort of [1 Canine-Felling Arrow] could be crafted by a passerby.
- [5/7] A [1 Boglog Tooth] on the tip, [1 Werewolf Bone] as the shaft, and a [1 Hippogriff Feather] as the quill.
- [6/7] Five of these mystical arrows should be enough to repel the herd. So, you'll need to collect 5 of each material.
- [7/7] You seem to possess the mettle to obtain these components and slay the herd. What d'ya say; band with us?
Objective 1 - Retrieve ingredients and craft the arrows
Description
Retrieve [5 Hippogriff Feather], [5 Werewolf Bone], and [5 Boglog Tooth]. Using these materials, craft [5 Canine-Felling Arrows] to hunt Werewolves with.
Dialogue
- [1/3] You got them all? Haggleton might just survive the night. Get ready, I'll lead you to where we'll plan our attack.
- [2/3] Watch out though, they'll be waiting for us to get there.
- [3/3] Here we are. Ready?
Objective 2 - Bring the Half-Giant 20 Werewolf Pelts
Description
Slay Werewolves to obtain [20 Werewolf Pelt] and bring them to the Half-Giant.
Dialogue
- [1/2] We're still alive! I'll be darned, we bloody did it! Without you, Haggleton would be a set of ruins by now.
- [2/2] T'ain't much, but take these as a token of our gratitude.
Tips
- When attacking the Boglogs and the Hippogriffs, take advantage of the surrounding high ground in the mob's spawn area.
- If killed by a Werewolf, talk to the Half-Giant to be sent back to fight again.
