Overview
Eloise, a student on a trip to Hogsend, broke her wand and needs to get it repaired before she returns to Hogsworth. She cannot leave her friends, so she enlists you with the task of getting it repaired. Go through the process to repair the wand at Wenlock's Wand Repairs.
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to the Eloise NPC on the path in front of the main north entrance to Hogsend.
Dialogue
- [1/4] Hey you! Can you help me out?
- [2/4] I came to Hogsend with my friends for the field trip, but while we were here I noticed my wand wasn't working well.
- [3/4] It definitely needs to be repaired, but we're going to be heading back to Hogsworth soon so I can't go to Mr. Wenlock myself.
- [4/4] Could you do me a favour and take it to the Wand Repair Shop to have it repaired?
Objective 1 - Go to Wenlock's Wand Repair Shop
Description
Take Eloise's broken wand to Wenlock's Wand Repair Shop in Hogsend and talk to Mr. Wenlock regarding her wand.
Dialogue
Before casting
- [1/2] Welcome to Wenlock's Wand Repairs! How may I help you?
- [2/2] Ah you have a wand that needs fixing. I'll need to see the extent of the damage and the cause before proceeding any further. Please try to cast with the wand.
After casting
- [1/3] Goodness gracious! This wand is severely damaged. Both the wand wood and core need to be repaired.
- [2/3] Sadly, I've got many other wands to repair, so I cannot repair this wand on such short notice. Though, if you get all the materials, I will allow you to repair it yourself.
- [3/3] Here's my very own handbook on the different wand woods and cores. Use this to identify which materials you need and come back once you've gathered all of them!
Objective 2 - Retrieve the Materials & Repair the Wand
Description
Using Mr. Wenlock's wand handbook, retrieve the correct wand wood from the QualiTree Lumber Shop near the fountain in the middle of Hogsend and gather the proper core material by defeating the correct mob type. Return to the Wand Repair Shop to then repair the wand by using the crafting table across from Mr. Wenlock's desk!

- [1/3] Hello and welcome to QualiTree Lumber Shop! Are you here to gather some wood?
- [2/3] We provide one-use axes that you can buy to chop your own wood. Be careful what you chop! If you chop the wrong wood you'll need to buy another axe from us.
- [3/3] Would you like to buy an axe from us?
Objective 3 - Return Eloise's Wand
Description
Take the repaired wand back to Eloise.
Dialogue
- [1/3] Oh you're back!
- [2/3] Thank you so much for getting my wand repaired. I really hope I didn't take up too much of your time with this.
- [3/3] Here's a reward for all the trouble I've caused you.
Tips
- Make sure you correctly identify Eloise’s wand using Mr. Wenlock’s handbook. You will lose both time and Gold if you collect the wrong materials.
- In order to collect the correct wood from the trees in the back of the shop, you must use an axe.
- The mobs needed for this quest can be found in the Hogsend area. If you are having trouble finding them, try using the in-game command /map and looking for their green paw print icon.
