Potterworld's 4th Anniversary 2018

Overview

Potterworld's 4th Anniversary began on May 13th. This event highlighted the growth of Potterworld throughout the years. In addition to the celebrations, there was a contest and a 24-Hours of Classes event held.

Storyline

Players travelled through the history of Potterworld. It started with the creation of Diagonal Lane, which then led to the 2016 Battle of Hogsworth. Finally, players were able to reflect on the modern-day castle.

Location

The festivities took place in the Great Hall Courtyard. It was decorated with a huge cake in the middle and a few stands surrounding it. Inside of the cake, players could see the selfie booth and a timeline of Potterworld. From the inside of the Great Hall to the outside, there was a purple carpet leading into the cake.

Quests

One quest could be completed during Potterworld's 4th Anniversary. This quest went along with the storyline of the event.

Back to the Future

Players began the quest by talking to a Droobledore NPC in the Headmaster’s office. From there, the player would head over to the pensieve and speak to the first 4 Heads of Houses. The player then travelled to Diagonal Lane where Droobledore needed a potion brewed. Once finished, players travelled to the 2016 Battle of Hogsworth where they ran away from Seberius. From there, players were brought back to the modern-day castle and solved a riddle. Upon completion of the quest, players received the Anniversary Firework Spell.

There were no side quests during this event.

Activities

During this event, there was only the 24-Hours of Classes event.

24-Hours of Classes Event

The 24-Hours of Classes event was held on May 19th, 2018. During this, there were different classes held every hour.

Contests

Instagram Features

During the event, a selfie booth was set up inside of the anniversary cake in the Great Hall Courtyard. Players could take pictures as Droobledore with his hat. These pictures could be posted on Instagram with #PWAnniversary to get a chance to be featured on the PotterworldMC Instagram.

Rewards & Collectables

Players could purchase rewards from an NPC throughout the duration of the event. The rewards cost players Gold. The table below shows all of the rewards players could receive from the event.
