Overview
Shade Alley offshoots from the famous Diagonal Lane. It is much darker and mysterious than its bright neighbour, with shady characters and dark arts filling up its streets. There are three main entrances to Shade Alley: one across from Wacky Wizarding Wonders, one next to J. Pippin’s Potions, and one next to the Scribbler building. There are other various points of access that can be found throughout Diagonal Lane.
Players can access Shade Alley from the previously mentioned Diagonal Lane, which can be found in London. Located on the southeastern edge of the map, London has a large Unmagical population. Thus, the magical streets of Shade Alley are hidden and players must enter Diagonal Lane from the Cauldron Inn to find it. Shade Alley can be accessed by players of any level, but the level of the location is 25.
Geography & Environment
Being located within the city of London, Shade Alley is an urban area. With a large variety of architectural styles, each building is slightly different in its shape or colour. There are a couple of main roads and walkways, along with a few narrow paths that can lead to less-visited buildings in Shade Alley. The lack of adequate lighting and confusing streets make Shade Alley a confusing place to navigate.
Quests
There are currently no quests available in Shade Alley.
Creatures and Plants
The only creatures that can be found in Shade Alley are the mischievous Imps. These neutral mobs can be seen throughout the stone walkways of Shade Alley.
Hidden Chests
There are many hidden chests that players can find around Shade Alley. Some spells, such as Leviomora and Avomora, may be necessary to access some of the chests. The chests range from Tier 1-3 and can give the player Gold for opening them. Inside of the chests, players can find Level 21-30 mob drops and gear recipes.
Trivia
- The entrance to the since-destroyed Dark Follower’s Base can still be found in Shade Alley.
- Sets of Dark Follower Robes can be purchased at Borkin & Brambles.
