Overview

After being released from the Secret Pub after Woodshire’s barrier was lifted, Cassie Sallow is looking to find her family in Griffin’s Hollow. She is unaware that hundreds of years have passed since she first entered the pub and the player must search for descendants of hers.

• [4/5] We used to be so close, but I haven't seen him in ages. Despite the state of things, my boss has still got me working a full night shift at the pub though!

Objective 1 - Find Map to Lark’s House

Description

Cassie wants you to visit her cousin Lark. Find the [Map to Lark's House] by going to Cassie's house in Woodshire and getting the address from the top floor.

• [2/4] Now, I know I have a map to his house up in my attic somewhere but I'm not sure where.
• [3/4] I would start with getting that map and following it to Lark's house!
• [4/4] My house is on the edge of town, it's the light-coloured one behind the church. Head over there and check the top floor for the map and see if you can find Lark!
  

Objective 2 - Visit Lark’s House

Description

When in Griffin's Hollow Park, use the [1 Map to Lark's House] and follow it to the correct house.

• [2/6] [Player’s nickname], huh?
• [3/6] Well next time, knock. Anyway, my name is Creed Fernsby.
• [4/6] You're looking for somebody named Lark Sallow?
• [5/6] Since you so rudely barged in you can make it up to me by washing my windows, I'll tell you everything after that.
• [6/6] Go grab [1 Window Squeegee] from the corner over there and [1 Sponge] from the counter and get to work!
  

Objective 3 - Wash Creed’s Windows

Description

Collect [1 Window Squeegee] from the corner and [1 Sponge] from the counter and wash Creed's windows in Griffin's Hollow.

Objective 4 - Get Information from Creed

Description

Talk to Creed in his house in Griffin's Hollow and see if he can provide any information about Lark Sallow.

Objective 5 - Find Gabrielle Sallow

Description

Go next door to Creed's house in Griffin's Hollow and find Gabrielle Sallow.

• [2/5] Creed sent you, huh? Sorry about him, he's a bit abrasive to strangers! Now, I'd really love to talk right now but I am absolutely swamped with work!
• [3/5] Actually, if you wouldn't mind making [1 Bouquet] for me while I do another, I could take a few minutes to talk.
• [4/5] You will? Oh great! Just collect [2 Rose], [3 Baby's Breath], and [3 Fern] from my garden. Then, you can assemble it at the crafting table over there.
• [5/5] You'll see. It takes a bit of trial and error, but it's worth the time spent to figure out the best way to make a bouquet.

Objective 6 - Make a Bouquet

Description

Collect [2 Rose], [3 Baby's Breath], and [3 Fern] from Gabrielle's garden in Griffin's Hollow, and find the proper way to assemble a bouquet at the crafting table inside.

Objective 7 - Ask About Cassie

Description

Talk to Gabrielle in her house in Griffin's Hollow about Cassie and her missing family members.

Description

After talking to Gabrielle Sallow in her home in Griffin's Hollow, find Seph Ire, a long-time friend of Gabrielle, to continue your search.

Objective 9 - Complete the Crossword Puzzle

Description

Click the newspaper on the table in Seph's house in Griffin's Hollow and help them complete the crossword puzzle.

Objective 10 - Ask Seph About His Family

Description

In Griffin's Hollow, talk to Seph about his lost ancestors.

• [2/4] As far as I know, I had a first cousin seven times removed who used to visit Griffin's Hollow quite often until one day she disappeared without a trace.
• [3/4] That's all I know, sorry I couldn't be more help!
• [4/4] Oh, and [player nickname]? Come visit if you find any more information will ya?

Objective 11 - Report Back to Cassie

Description

Return to the Fig 'n Thistle Pub in Woodshire and talk to Cassie.

• [1/7] So, did you talk to Lark?
• [2/7] It's what year!? I can't believe so much time has passed. Lark was my closest family member, too. I had noticed something weird going on with the time lately... It seems to have passed differently around town than in the Pub.
• [3/7] I only hope Lark lived a long and happy life. This is very upsetting news, but perhaps you could try to figure out who's descended from him.
• [4/7] From what you've told me, you found three possible candidates: Creed Fernsby, Gabrielle Sallow, and Seph Ire.
• [5/7] When I was little, my Grandma told me there was a secret book hidden somewhere in the Ministry of Magicians. If we could figure out who I'm related to anywhere, it would be there. Supposedly, it contained a full account of every family in the wizarding world ever, and magically updated to reflect current families.
• [6/7] The riddle she used to tell me about went like this...

Description

In the Ministry of Magicians, solve the riddle you found on the Minister for Magicians' wand shelf to continue the search for the Record Book.

Objective 14 - Locate the Correct Room

Description

Explore the confusing corridors and rooms of the Department of Mysteries to locate the room you are searching for.

Objective 15 - Search the Ministry of Magicians

Description

Take a close look at your surroundings in the Cloud Room from the Department of Mysteries and find the password that unlocks the door.

Objective 16 - Explore the Auralock Section

Description

Upon exiting the Cloud Room in the Ministry of Magicians, you ended up on the Auralock Floor. Find what it may hide.

Objective 17 - Search the Ministry of Magicians

Description

Using [1 Ancient Wand] and the note attached to it that mentions to return it to its rightful pedestal, find the Family Record Book in the Ministry of Magicians and discover the truth about Cassie's descendent.

Objective 18 - Search the Ministry of Magicians

Description

Return to the Fig 'n Thistle Pub in Woodshire and tell Cassie what you've learned about who has descended from Lark.

• [2/5] The book said Seph Ire, huh? That's great news! I would love to meet them!
• [3/5] I have a few errands to finish here, but I'll tell my boss I'm taking a few days off to start getting over everything that happened.
• [4/5] I'm probably gonna travel to Griffin's Hollow and meet Seph in person too. I'm very sad I never got to say goodbye to Lark, but I'm grateful to get to meet a new family member.
• [5/5] As unfair as this curse may feel, I'm at peace knowing that I'll have the chance to spend some time with one of my descendants. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your precious help.
