Overview
Abigail is an NPC that players are able to encounter in Gnollberg Port through the quests Going Deeper, Taking a Deeper Look, and Deceased Production. Born in Walden, she and her younger brother, Steven, were not the closest. However, this all changed after their parents died when they were still teenagers. Determined to take care of themselves, the siblings moved to Gnollberg Port when they were not able to afford the rent in Walden. Attracted by the job opportunities in Gnollberg, Steven soon found a job at the factory while Abigail became a waitress in a restaurant.
Even though life was not easy for them, Abigail never lost her passion for cooking and opening her own restaurant. Chasing her dreams while working as a waitress, she would take notes whenever the chef was cooking. At home, she would always be found in the kitchen creating new recipes and testing them on poor Steven. Being busy with work and creating new recipes, Abigail has no time to make new friends in Walden. However, through interacting with customers at work, she has been able to meet a few people in town.
Life seemed to be going on smoothly until one day, Steven disappeared. Abigail is horrified and seeks help from players to look for him. Players can start a three-part quest to help Abigail look for Steven in the nearby factory where he works. After an extensive investigation, the player eventually finds out that Steven is dead. Upon hearing the news, Abigail is heartbroken and seeks the player’s help for exacting revenge on the factory’s owner: Doctor Dott.
