Overview
Adela is looking forward to making her signature pumpkin punch but needs your help retrieving the ingredients. Start off by catching Flying Seahorses, rare creatures found in a dangerous off-shore cave near Portstead. Then, retrieve pumpkins from a nearby farm.
Quest Progression
Speak to Adela to begin this quest on the dock at Portstead.
Dialogue
- [1/6] Hey, you look lost. Maybe I can help you acquaint yourself.
- [2/6] I'm Adela! I've lived in this town my whole life, but it seems people here only know me for two things: making reckless decisions and my famous pumpkin punch!
- [3/6] I've actually been wanting to sell my signature pumpkin punch, but I don't have any of the ingredients to make it.
- [4/6] I need [6 Flying Seahorse Wing] to add my special touch to the pumpkin punch, though they can be quite risky to get.
- [5/6] The wings can be found in a dangerous cave, but it's fine. I've been through that cave many times.
- [6/6] I don't have the time to get all the ingredients, as I want to get my stand started straight away and there's still so much more to do! Would you be willing to go? I can take you there on this boat. You'll need to use [1 Bucket] to catch the flying seahorses and get their wings, so I'll make sure to give that to ya!
Objective 1 - Reach the end of the cave
Description
Get to the end of the cave, where the Flying Seahorses are.
Objective 2 - Catch the Flying Seahorse Wings and return to Adela
Description
Catch the flying seahorses with [1 Bucket] in order to obtain [6 Flying Seahorse Wing]. Once you have the wings, find the cave exit to return to the boat and get to Adela.
Dialogue
- [1/3] You caught them! Great job! Now all I need is [4 Pumpkin Bits], which is the annoying part.
- [2/3] We don't have any pumpkin farms in our town, so you'll have to walk up the road near Edgebrook and find the Pumpkin Farmer. He should have what I need.
- [3/3] When you've got it, come back to me and I can teach you how to make my famous pumpkin punch!
Objective 3 - Collect Pumpkin Bits and bring them to Adela
Description
Find the Pumpkin Farmer up the road near Edgebrook and collect [4 Pumpkin Bits]. Once you've gathered everything, return to Adela.
Dialogue
Pumpkin Farmer
- [1/3] Hello, welcome to my pumpkin farm. If you were interested in buying any pumpkins, you can't, because the ripe ones have all disappeared!
- [2/3] I have a sneaking suspicion that Explosively-Ended Newts are taking them for their own destruction! It's been happening for quite some time now, and I've about had it!
- [3/3] If you really want [4 Pumpkin Bits], go ahead. You'll have to get them from the little buggers yourself. Just head east, and they'll be by the shore. You might be able to find some pumpkins there. You'll be lucky if they aren't destroyed! Once you have what you need, go on ahead back to where you came from!
Adela
- [1/3] Sweet! Now I can teach you how to make my pumpkin punch!
- [2/3] You can go to my punch stand to make the drink. It's the stand with the light blue and white cover!
- [3/3] When you're done, show me how well you've made my signature recipe!
Objective 4 - Brew Adela’s Signature Pumpkin Punch then return to her
Description
Make [1 Adela's Signature Pumpkin Juice] and give it to Adela.
Dialogue
- [1/2] You've done it! It tastes just as good as when I make it.
- [2/2] Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it!
Tips
- Explosively-Ended Newts are fearsome creatures. Beware their exploding ends.
