Operation 83-C

Overview

Operation 83-C was a roleplay event that occurred during the month of May, 2020. The event was a result of the Auralocks launching an attack on both the Phoenix and Dark Follower bases. Following the attack, players were able to visit both bases to explore and look for clues. Exclusive rewards were also available to be obtained during this event.

Storyline

Operation 83-C was facilitated by Ministry Official, Shakti, after tensions had escalated between the Dark Followers, the Phoenixes, and the Auralocks. This was due to the Dark Hand breaking Noah Pendragon out of prison, which Joshua Pendragon and Andreu Waxbean were blamed for due to a matter of timing. Joshua was imprisoned for this while Andreu managed to escape.  

The operation took place on the night of May the 21st, where a group of elite Auralocks launched an attack on both the Phoenix and Dark Follower bases. Unfortunately, both bases were ruined and turned into rubble, and many lives were lost. However, members of both the Phoenix and Dark Follower inner circles were able to flee before they were seriously harmed. Following this, Joshua Pendragon was freed from the Auralock prison by the Flamekeeper and Songstress. 

After the attack, both allegiances were allowed to investigate their bases for clues.

Activities

Following the attacks on the Phoenix and Dark Follower bases, players were invited into the ruined bases in order to explore and help look for clues. These clues included a multitude of significant items that belonged to the inner circles of both allegiances. Players also received a collector’s book to hold these items in during the event.

Phoenix Discoveries

Players had to explore the ruined Phoenix Base to find 10 items and pieces of information. Once collected, players were able to exchange these for an exclusive collectable and scarf. Items that needed to be found included a Crucible Fragment, Dragon Scale, Sealed Envelope, Handmade Scarf, and more.

Dark Follower Discoveries

Players had to explore the ruined Dark Follower Base to find 10 items and pieces of information. Once collected, players were able to exchange these for an exclusive collectable and scarf. Items that needed to be found included a Pearl Necklace, Spell Notebook, Torn Photograph, Bo Staff, and more.

Daily Diviner Article

A Daily Diviner article was published on May 3, 2020 reporting on the induction of Joshua Pendragon as Lord of the Phoenixes. The article also reports on Joshua’s imprisonment by the Auralocks.

Another Daily Diviner article was released a couple weeks later on May 22, 2020 reporting on the Auralock attack launched on the Phoenix and Dark Follower bases.

Potterwatch Video

A video was uploaded showing the meeting of the Ministry officials who launch Operation 83-C. It shows the Dark Hand breaking Noah Pendragon out of prison and also the imprisonment of Joshua Pendragon.
