The Dementare's Kiss

Overview
Jason the prisoner arsonist helped you and expects help in return. His friend Celia is due for the Dementare's Kiss and he wants you to help her defeat the Dementare to save her life.
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to the Prisoner Jason NPC inside of the The Dark Prison on the bottom floor.
Dialogue
- [1/6] Look who it is! My favourite cellie! I take it you got your magic all sorted out then?
- [2/6] Now it’s time to uphold your part of the bargain…. or else.
- [3/6] Lovely little Celia Fridolf is about to get the ol' kiss and we can't let that happen. After all, it isn't her fault that she goes a bit crazy on the full moon if you know what I mean.
- [4/6] The inmates that receive a Dementare's Kiss get their soul snatched right out of 'em.
- [5/6] Everything that makes 'em human is just gone afterwards.
- [6/6] Now, are you ready to get going? You don't want to find out what will happen to you if you don't help her in time.
Objective 1 - Speak to Prisoner Celia Fridolf
Description
Locate Prisoner Celia Fridolf's cell on the second floor of The Dark Prison and speak to her about the Warden's plan to have her receive the Dementare's Kiss.
Dialogue
- [1/5] H-hello. Jason sent you? That's very kind of him.
- [2/5] The Dementares are getting hungrier and the Warden has approved for them to take my soul…
- [3/5] The only way to ward them off is using happy memories, but the very purpose of Dementares is to drain any bit of happiness from us prisoners.
- [4/5] I can't tell my nightmares from my memories anymore and am now defenseless against them.
- [5/5] Take my [1 Corrupted Memory Vial] up to the Warden's Memory Walker on the second to top floor of The Dark Prison and see if you can fix them. Fixing my memories is the only way I can escape this fate.
Objective 2 - Find the Memory Walker
Description
Find the Warden's Memory Walker on the second to top floor of The Dark Prison. Then place [1 Corrupted Memory Vial] inside of it to begin restoring them.
Objective 3 - Restore Celia's Happy Memories
Description
Using the Warden's Pensive on the second to top floor of The Dark Prison, find a way to defeat Celia's fears and correct her corrupted memories. Then, use [1 Memory Vial] to capture [1 Happy Memory] in each of her three childhood memories.
Dialogue
- [1/2] You did it! You fixed my memories!
- [2/2] I'm still too weak to fend them off on my own... please use this [1 Happy Memory Vial] to defeat the Dementares!
Objective 4 - Defeat the Famished Dementare
Description
Return to Celia's Cell on the second floor of The Dark Prison and use the [1 Happy Memory] to ward off the Dementare attempting to give Celia a Dementare's Kiss. Then, speak to Celia.
Dialogue
- [1/2] You've done it! I don't even know how to express how incredibly grateful I am.
- [2/2] My memories are clear again. I will be able to defend myself from here on out.
Tips
- To unlock this quest, the completion of Escaping the Inescapable is required.
- Gear is vital for this quest, to defeat the mobs within this quest.
- Make sure to be killing the Famished Dementare with your Memory Vial!
