Overview
The Temporal Coven once again needs your help with a disturbance. This time, it's in the Non-Magical town of Walden!
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to Celeste at a destroyed building in Walden.
Dialogue
Before accepting
- [1/5] Oh my gosh, it's you [player's username]!
- [2/5] It's been quite a while since we last saw each other... all that time ago, at Wighenge, wasn't it?
- [3/5] Well, I'm still travelling around, finding temporal anomalies, tracking them- you know, the usual.
- [4/5] However, this one in Walden seems to have... eluded me.
- [5/5] Say, you were so good at helping me last time, how about you help me again? If you do, I'll see to it that you officially become a member of the Temporal Coven!
After accepting
- [1/6] You will? That's incredible. Now then, let's get right on it.
- [2/6] I've been unable to find whatever temporal oddity exists in this town.
- [3/6] I believe that if we find an important object from this town's history, we may be able to manipulate it into revealing whatever secret this town is hiding.
- [4/6] Issue is, I don't know where an important object could be... But I may know some people that might.
- [5/6] You see, I have some bottled temporal residue from Wighenge... Let me just combine it with a normal object from Walden, and it should allow us to read the whispers of the former residents of this town.
- [6/6] Good luck! Return to me once you've found it. Believe me, you'll know.
Objective 1 - Gather resources for the ritual
Description
Tinker with the Magical Watch, then follow the trail to find echoes of the town's past to locate a possession lost to time.
Dialogue
- [1/4] Ah! You're back!
- [2/4] What did you find? A coin? Interesting...
- [3/4] Here, take the remainder of the magical residue, and sprinkle it over the coin using the crafting table next to me.
- [4/4] Once you've done that, head up to the abandoned house on the hill to the south. Shouldn't be able to miss it. It hasn't been touched since Old Walden fell. Play around with the coin and see if anything unusual happens... Take this book as well. You may not be able to read it, but it could help.
Objective 2 - Locate the Anomaly
Description
Head to the house on the hill, then use the coin to head back in time to track down the mysterious anomaly!
Dialogue
Before opening the chest
- [1/3] Citizens of Walden! I have returned with exciting news!
- [2/3] In my travels, I came across this- a pirate chest- supposedly belonging to the fabled Captain Red!
- [3/3] I've gathered you here to unlock the secrets behind the chest. What may lie insi- what was that!?
After opening the chest
- [1/2] Look at all of this gold! All mine! Yes!
- [2/2] What shall I do with my newfound wealth... and yes, I mean mine. If you think I'm sharing it with any of you fools, you're sadly mistaken.
Return to Celeste
- [1/5] You're back!
- [2/5] You managed to WHAT?!? Travel into the past... That's supposed to be only theoretical... No member has ever been able to do so without the use of a temporal turner before.
- [3/5] And there was something... or someone... there? Perhaps it... No... It couldn't be…
- [4/5] I need to do more research, and report back to Headquarters. While I'm there, I'll make sure we make you an official member of the coven

Tips
- The Walden Relux is part of a questline. You will not be able to begin this quest until you complete The Truth About Wighenge.
