General Server Information

Overview

Potterworld has a large variety of mechanics that exist to help players throughout their time on the server. Some are as generic as forms of currency while others are unique to the server such as Talents. New things are constantly being developed to improve the player experience. The larger mechanics on the server provide new ways for players to travel, trade, level up, and overall help make the player experience easier.

General Information

Currency

Currencies are used throughout the server as a form of tradable payment. There are various forms of currency on Potterworld that players can use to obtain countless collectables, cosmetics, and other gameplay-related items.

Wands 

A wand is the main source for casting spells on the Potterworld server that every player receives when they first join. Wands help players keep track of every spell they obtain and are the main focal point for casting a spell.

Talents

Talents provide players with an opportunity to buff or enhance certain spells. There are five different tiers and three categories that player are able to choose from.

Daily Activities 

Daily activities are different tasks and challenges that players are given each day and can choose to complete. A reward will be given after completing each of these activities and can consist of XP, Gold, Academic Credits, or even House points.

Commands

On Potterworld, there are several useful commands players can use that might help make their experience on the server easier. Players may also discover that there are a variety of different commands that serve the same purpose.

Travel

Travel methods exist all around the world and allow players to quickly travel from one location to another. These methods greatly vary from more general ways of travel such as the warp key and brooms to more secretive ways such as the Vanishing Cabinet.
