Overview
Jeremiah is waiting at the Quabbleball Pitch to start the Flying lesson with Professor Wilson. During the class, Jeremiah and the player learn how to craft a broom and control a broom. They even get to fly through a short course on the Quabbleball Pitch to get comfortable on the broom.
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to the Jeremiah NPC at the Quabbleball Pitch.

- [2/5] What did you think of divination? The whole concept seems kind of strange to me, but to each their own.
- [3/5] The Flying lesson is just about to start and from what I've heard, Professor Wilson is pretty strict.
- [4/5] I... heard from some of the prefects last night that flying can be pretty tough for First Years. He begins to hide in his robes.

Objective 1 - Speak to Professor Wilson

- [1/3] Ah. You're finally here.
- [2/3] Let's not waste more of our time, shall we?
- [3/3] Let's begin the lesson!

- [1/5] Greetings and welcome to your first Flying lesson!
- [2/5] Today I will be teaching you the two most important lessons for any new flyers.
- [3/5] First, you must learn how to make a broom.
- [4/5] Then, I will show all of you how to lift your broom off the ground and take to the skies!
- [5/5] I hope you're all ready!
Professor Wilson - After lesson
- [1/5] [player’s username]! Let's get started.
- [2/5] In order to craft a broom, you'll need four different components, as well as a broom recipe.
- [3/5] You'll need [1 Basic Broom Handle], [1 Used Footholds], [1 Rough Handlewraps], and [1 Stiff Bristles], which you can find in the tents just outside of the pitch.
- [4/5] I know that's a lot to remember, so I've gone ahead and enchanted your [1 Basic Broom Recipe]. It will help you keep track of and find the location of the broom components for you.
- [5/5] Once you have all four parts, return to me so we can craft your broom!
Objective 2 - Gather Materials
Description
Use [1 Basic Broom Recipe] to locate the four materials in the tents around the Quabbleball Pitch needed to craft a broom.
Dialogue
- [1/5] Welcome back students! I hope none of you got lost while exploring the pitch. It does seem that we have everyone, so let's continue!
- [2/5] Now that you have all of your broom components, I will combine them for you.
- [3/5] Broom crafting is a difficult skill. When you're exploring the world, I would look for Broom Vendors that are willing to craft your brooms for you.
- [4/5] In the future, you can get broom components and broom recipes from defeating monsters out in the world. Someday, you could even have a Thunderflash like me.
- [5/5] Now, let's get on with it! It's time to craft your brooms!
Objective 3 - Craft a Broom
Description
Return to Professor Wilson in the Quabbleball Pitch and craft your broom!
Objective 4 - Complete the Flying Course
Description
Speak to Professor Wilson to test your hand at a flying course around the Quabbleball Pitch!
Dialogue
Professor Wilson
- [1/4] Quick learner, I see!
- [2/4] Why don't you give it a try by taking it for a spin around the pitch?
- [3/4] Click your broom to mount it. Then look in the direction you would like to fly while using W, A, S, D, and SPACE. You can press your sneak button to dismount it!
- [4/4] You ready to fly? Let's go!
After completing the Flying course
- [1/3] Splendid! It seems like you're one of the first ones to make it.
- [2/3] You did a wonderful job out there today. Have you considered trying out for the [player’s house] Quabbleball Team? Something to consider for the future.
- [3/3] Now, that's all for today. I'll take your broom for now, since we can't have students flying in the halls. Dismissed!
Objective 5 - Talk to Jeremiah
Description
Speak to Jeremiah at the end of the Flying Lesson at the Quabbleball Pitch.
Dialogue
- [1/3] That was a great lesson, don't you think?
- [2/3] I could see you on a Quabbleball Team, you know? I could never, of course. I could barely control my broom!
- [3/3] Now that that's done, Let's head to our next lesson. Remember to use your [Class Schedule] to head to our next lesson!
Tips
- Open the Basic Broom Recipe and select the materials to set your Enchanted Compass to the material.
- All of the broom materials needed are found in the tents to the north or south of the Quabbleball Pitch.
- When flying through the course, take it slow and aim for the centre of the hoop.
