Overview

You are invited to a party and uncover some dark secrets, but will you make it out safely?

Quest Progression

To start the quest, talk to Alfred in the western side of Walden.

Dialogue

  • [1/1] Excuse me! You're [player’s username], right?
  • [2/2] I am here on behalf of Master Wayne. He wanted me to formally invite you to his dinner today.
  • [3/3] He lives in one of the mansions in East Walden. So what do you say? Will you be there? Master Wayne really wants you to be there.

Objective 1 - Attend the party and meet Wayne

Description

A man named Alfred has invited you to a party at a house in the East side of Walden. Attend the party and meet Wayne, the owner of the house.

Dialogue

  • [1/5] Ah! My dear friend! It's so nice to meet you!
  • [2/5] I've heard all about your travels around and I just knew I had to meet you!
  • [3/5] So before we become great friends, I have a favour to ask of you…
  • [4/5] I think there might be something up that path over there.
  • [5/5] See if you can find some clues.

Objective 2 - Find out who could've taken the diary

Description

After introducing yourself to Wayne, he lets you know that one of the guests from inside the house has stolen his diary. He is not sure who it is, but is certain that it can not be you since you arrived late. Talk to the other five guests to figure out who took the diary from Wayne's room then return to let him know who you think did it.

Dialogue

Kayla

  • [1/3] Oh hey! What's up?
  • [2/3] Wayne's diary? Why no I haven't seen it. I've been with my sister Morgan this entire time.
  • [3/3] I sure hope whoever took it is brought to justice. Good luck with that!

Morgan

  • [1/3] A what now? A diary?
  • [2/3] No, I haven't seen anything like that. I've been following Kayla around like some lost puppy.
  • [3/3] Whoever it is probably has a good reason to have taken it though.

Jack

  • [1/3] Who what now? Oh, Wayne's diary?
  • [2/3] No, I haven't seen it.
  • [3/3] I've been busy walking around the first floor admiring the decorations.

Omar

  • [1/2] Hey pal, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
  • [2/2] The chef and I have been sharing recipes all night.

Michael

  • [1/3] Hu- huh?
  • [2/3] Sorry, you caught me off guard.
  • [3/3] No, I haven't been anywhere near Wayne's room or his diary.

Wayne

  • [1/3] You think it's [guest picked]?
  • [2/3] Guards, check them...
  • [3/3] Nothing? Well then [player’s username], I can't believe you've embarrassed me like this in front of my guests... I guess you need to spend time alone to think of what you've done.

Alfred

  • [1/6] Oh, thank goodness you're awake... I was really starting to get worried.
  • [2/6] I am so sorry that Master Wayne did this to you, but I'm here to help you get out so long as you help me.
  • [3/6] I am the one who took his diary because I needed leverage to get away from him and to prove to the Ministry what he has been doing.
  • [4/6] I haven't been able to do this before because I haven't had a chance without jeopardizing my family.
  • [5/6] You see, I'm not a wizard, but I've been forced to work for Wayne because I found him practising Dark Magics in the woods near Walden and he threatened to hurt my family if I didn't work for him.
  • [6/6] But this diary is my one way out! Now you just need to escape with the diary... The greenery should have grown from the exit to the cave so following it is what I would probably do. Meet me back where we first met once you're out.

Objective 3 - Find a way out of the dungeons

Description

Escape Wayne's dungeon maze and find Alfred back where you first met him.

Dialogue

  • [1/3] You've made it! I'm so glad to see you finally.
  • [2/3] Just hand me the diary and I'll take care of the rest.
  • [3/3] Please take this as a little something for your troubles.

Tips

  • The dungeon maze may look daunting at first, but listen to Alfred’s words carefully and you will get through in no time.
