Overview
Appleby Village was founded in the early 1600s. The location was originally a lonely inn and a small area of farmland. The owner of the inn was Blythe Appleby, a former Hogsworth professor, who wanted to run this business to help travellers. However, The Broomsticks Inn in Hogsend was more popular amongst people. This caused Blythe to struggle to obtain funds to maintain the business. In an attempt to save up money, Appleby began growing pumpkins. He would turn this into Pumpkin Punch and sell it to any traveller passing by.
Children were sent to the inn over the summer, which led to Appleby teaching them about businesses. The small fees from this and selling Pumpkin Punch helped Appleby have the ability to further develop the town. More citizens settled into the location and helped it become known throughout the wizarding world. The name of Appleby Village was in honour of Blyth Appleby’s death in 1620.
Players can find Appleby Village on the eastern part of the map near Hogsend. The location can be unlocked at any level.
However, flying on a broom would be the best way to get to Appleby Village. This location unfortunately does not provide access to the Shady Dealer, Vendor, Crafting Centre, Fire Dust Network, Marketplace, Bank, or Tommy Riddle.
Geography & Environment
Appleby Village is located between many forests and flat fields. Within the location itself, the land is perfect for agriculture. The most common trees found around the town are spruce, but there are no profession plant nodes in this area. Additionally, the climate of Appleby Village is typically warm and humid.

Appleby Inn
The Appleby Inn is located on the west side of the town. This small building contains 4 rooms and a dining area. A magical spell can be used to infinitely adjust the size of the room.
Grandma Donna's Pie Shop
Grandma Donna’s Pie Shop can be located in the middle of Appleby Village. It is a small building with two floors, one for the shop itself and the other is utilised as a living space. The owners are Donnie and her grandson Warren. Each pie is baked with the finest fruits found in Appleby and it is said that the pies from this shop are perfect. Additionally, every pastry that is made is also infused with a different type of potion in order to give the pies a little kick. However, customers can also request their pie without one.
Millie's Bird Training
Millie’s Bird Training is a location that trains birds such as falcons, hawks and pigeons to complete a variety of tasks. Rumours have it that pigeons were trained by Millie, and used in World War II as spies.
Blythe's Pumpkin Punch
Blythe’s Pumpkin Punch is a location that is found near the original spot Blythe Appleby sold the famous Pumpkin Punch. Warren’s father now runs this spot, in honour of Blythe’s legacy.
