Overview

Pitlucks are Level 38, neutral mobs in Potterworld. They currently reside around some horse stables near the southwest edge of Great Britain. One of their exclusive mob drops is used in the Blocked Source quest. However, all can be used for professions. 

As small, odd-looking creatures, this mob stands at about 31 centimetres tall with two hooves like a satyr. Their bodies are covered in harsh, unkept hair with red hues and their faces feature deep blue eyes with a singular, large nose. At the end of their small arms sit four short fingers.

Behaviour & Defence

Pitlucks are a neutral mob. Upon nearing their habitat, they will begin to spawn and will not immediately attack a player due to their tame nature, unless that player harms them first. The Ministry of Magicians classifies these creatures with an XX rating, which means that, while there is a slight chance that they can be aggressive, they will, for the most part, be peaceful.

These creatures normally tend to guard horses and occasionally end up in the straw inside stables or near the horses they are protecting. Despite their affluence for horses, Pitlucks will hide themselves away out of weariness if any human being comes near them.

Pitlucks have a total of 905 HP each. Their basic melee attack deals 181 damage and they have two special abilities known as dash and swipe. After being hit with a damage spell, a Pitluck may choose to either: dash straight towards the player with a giant leap, or swipe at the player. If the player is hit by the Pitluck’s dash or swipe, 271 damage is dealt. To best counter this mob, it is best to have a broom at hand to fly fast out of range.

Habitat

While these creatures were originally found in England and parts of Southern Ireland, Pitlucks naturally reside by horse stables and grassy terrain due to their innate behaviour. Within Potterworld, Pitlucks spawn around a group of stables south of Longbay Landing, west of Tristmoor, and north of the Seaside Cottage. Their area resides in a Jungle and Plains Biome containing wide plots of dirt littered with hay bales and Asphodel Lvl. 30 nodes scattered about.

Defeat

As a Level 38 mob, Pitlucks have the chance of dropping Level 31-40 broom materials such as Bronze Footholds, Elm Handle, Silk Handlewraps, and Rope Bristles. There is a rare chance of them dropping Lvl 31-40 Gear Pieces and an even rarer chance to drop Broom Recipes. Additionally, the mob drops exclusive Pitluck drops. These include Pitluck Blood, Pitluck Eye, and Pitluck Hair, which can be used in the following profession items: Charming Fizz Cakes IV, White Cocoacursed Tea IV, Transformation Tonic IV and Charming Concoction IV.
