Overview

The Phoenix base is home to the Phoenix roleplay allegiance. Located in a large tree, the base is heavily fortified against attacks. Following the destruction of the previous base by the Auralocks in Operation 83-C, the Phoenixes had to quickly flee and rebuild at their new base. In a remote forested area of ancient trees, the Phoenixes have made a home of the area and feel protected by the river that runs around the base. Originally introduced in the Root of the Problem live event, the Phoenixes made quick work of capturing their enemies and getting attention drawn to their new base.

Rooms

Meeting Room

When initially entering the base, the first room players walk into is the Meeting Room. A circular room decked in orange, yellow, and red, the round table is the centrepiece. Adorned with various books and papers from past meetings, the table is large enough to seat sixteen people. Shooting off from the Meeting Room are various small study rooms, offices, and staircases leading to other parts of the base.

Offices

Those higher up in the Phoenix ranks have their offices in the base, with proximity to the Meeting Room, demonstrating higher status. In the Lord of the Phoenixes' office, his often-used helmet can still be found in the corner of the room. To the left of his chair, hidden in the bookshelves, a secret passage leading to his planning room can be found. The Embersage’s office is less intricate than the Lord of the Phoenixes’, but can still be found off of the Meeting Room. The office has a chalkboard cluttered with small notes and tasks that the Phoenixes need to complete.

Library

One of the largest rooms in the whole base, the Library is filled with hundreds of books from a wide range of topics. The Library also has many tables and seating areas for Phoenixes’ to pour over their tomes. There is even a chessboard to keep their minds sharp.

Astronomy Room

A small room above the library, the Astronomy Room contains two powerful telescopes used to view the stars and planets. With a multitude of windows, the room makes it easy to track the stars in the sky. Additionally, the Phoenixes have a magically-scaled solar system hanging from the ceiling of this room.

Kitchen

The Phoenixes’ Kitchens are small and cramped, with very little room to move around. Besides the ordinary cooking equipment, a small fireplace and table can be found in the room. Sparsely decorated to save space, the priority of the Kitchens is to make food, not socialise. However, they did find room to fit even more books.

Alchemy Lab

Hidden behind a locked door, the Alchemy Lab is bursting with books, notes, and alchemical equipment. Clearly often used, the room appears in disarray, as if people have been furiously working around the clock. Along with various plants and materials, clippings from various Daily Diviner articles are found around the area.

Dungeons

The Dungeons of the base are located deep within the tree, only accessible through a singular wooden staircase. There are only a handful of sparsely-decorated cells in the Dungeons. Each of the cells is carved into stone and are nearly impossible to escape.

Owlery

The Phoenixes’ Owlery is small, sitting at the very top of a tower of bedrooms. Despite this, the owls seem to have enough space to spread out and there’s an ample amount of mailboxes. Also taking up residence in the Owlery are two of the base’s prized Phoenixes.

Dormitories

Located in a tower, the staircase cuts directly through the Dormitories. Always in need of space, the Phoenixes’ have managed to shove four beds into each tiny room. Between the staircase, beds, and trunks of the residents, one may find it hard to navigate around the Dormitories.

Interactions

The table below lists the interactions found at the Phoenix base, along with the description and location for each one. The interactions are found throughout the base and are typically on objects.
