The Battle of Grimlotts

Overview

The Battle of Grimlotts, released on June 4th, was the last official Roleplay event to happen on Potterworld. Players had to break through barriers to try and get into the Crestello Vault where Grux was hiding. All allegiances were involved, teaming up to defeat Grux. Players first had to collect Raw Magic to break through barriers.

Storyline

This Battle of Grimlotts was the result of the events of the 5th Battle of Potterworld. Grux had attacked Longbay Landing and then Hogsworth in bloody battles claiming multiple lives. After exiting a maze, Grux revealed the capture of a magical object called the Obscurium. This gave Grux an untold amount of power. 

After obtaining the Obscurium, Grux went on to hide in the Crestello Vault in Grimlotts. Players had to break through the barriers and collect Raw Magic to break into the vault.

Activities

Collecting Raw Magic

Players had to collect a material called Raw Magic by completing minigames. Whenever a player collected 100 Raw Magic, they could collect a reward. They could do this ten times. Everyone’s Raw Magic was combined to break down barriers in Grimlotts. Every time a barrier was broken, the amount of Raw Magic needed to break the next one would increase.

Minigames

The minigames that could be completed were all from past events. Players would get a certain amount of Raw Magic each time they completed one of the minigames.
