Other Travel Methods

Overview

As an alternative to Fire Dust, the Warp Key, or brooms, there are many travel methods where a player can click an NPC or stand in a certain location to be teleported to another. These are generally two-way and are favoured because of their low cost. These methods include taking the Hogsend Train, the Vanishing Cabinet hidden in the Room of Hidden Things, a secret passage through the Wicked Willow, as well as boat rides and the use of the Knight Shuttle. Besides being found in the world, some of these fast travel methods are unlocked via certain quests.

Travel Locations

Quick travel locations take players between two main locations on the world map. Most commonly these are between Hogsworth, Hogsend, and London, but there are others such as the boats between islands and the main world map.

Clicking the Telephone Booth in the Ministry will then magically take the player back to one of the 5 phone booths.
London Gentlemen’s Toilet	717 3 1197 419 8 1840	Ministry of Magicians	419 75 -806	Entering the gentlemen’s toilet in London and then clicking the lever to flush a player down the toilet will take a player to the Ministry of Magic, Unmagical-born style! This is a one-way trip.
The Hovel	3414 27 10422	The Scribbler, London	3062 57 -216	After completing the Scribbler Letdown quest, fast travel between The Hovel and the Scribbler building is established.
Cave under Edgebrook Well	5280 21 10606	Tristmoor Cave	2867 44 10645	The quest Stars in the Dark provides a travel option through the caves between Tristmoor and Edgebrook.
Mysterious Manor Basement	4065 34 9437	Seaside Cottage	2613 3 10969	After the completion of the A Helping Hand quest, the use of a warp between the Mysterious Manor and Seaside Cottage is discovered.
Swiper's Oar at Crooked Crossroads	4039 36 9435	Mysterious Manor	2989 47 -80	After completing the quest Heist of Darkness, players unlock fast travel between London and the Mysterious Manor near Tristmoor.
Laboratory in Squalus Cove	2731 51 9124	Cave near Eldham Ridge	3281 126 8866	After completing the quest Missing Madness, players unlock fast travel through the mountains between Squalus Cove and Eldham Ridge.
Little Boat	5903 3 8760	Island Shack	6126 3 8780	Clicking the Little Boat on the shore of the main map teleports players to the Little Hut on the Rock. There is another boat at the hut which takes players back to the main world map boat.
Anita (Shore at Wigtown)	2220 3 5843	Anita (Ship at Ireland)	1368 12 7236	After completing the Troubled Waters quest, talking to the Anita NPCs will take players between Wigtown and Ireland for only 20 Gold.
James' boat at Gnollberg Port	5193 8 1699	Boat at Rushstone	3287 13 1392	Completing the Cursed Forces quest unlocks fast travel between boats across Rushstone and Gnollberg Port.
Deep Forest Camps	1532 21 4880, 1432 10 3824, 2111 33 2772, 2648 35 4166	Dark Follower Camp	1532 21 4880	First unlocked in the Any Means Necessary quest, there are four tunnels between the four camps in the Deep Forest, providing fast travel between each location. Other quests that unlock more of the tunnels include: Tainted Blood, Eyes on the Inside, and A Feathered Friend.

Boat (Captain Jane at Greenshore Harbour)	6093 6 2613	Boat (Captain Jane at The Dark Prison)	6731 6 5881	Upon completing the Into the Dark quest, talking to each Captain Jane NPC at Greenshore Harbour or The Dark Prison teleports a player between the two locations for free.

Riddleyard	-	Wigtown	-	After completing an activity, fast travel between Riddleyard and Wigtown is unlocked.

Prefect Fast Travel

Various Prefect NPCs are located around different areas of Hogsworth as well as within the castle. They allow players to quick travel to 25 different locations in and around the castle, which can vary from the Great Hall to the Owlery. Once teleported, another Prefect will be nearby to allow the player to teleport again or return to the previous location they teleported from. Additionally, they will provide information on what other locations can be found nearby or in the general area to help players become more familiar with and around the castle!

Respawning

Another method of travel is through the use of the commands /kill or /spawn, or alternatively from dying by another method such as mobs or fall damage. Running either of these commands will kill your character, allowing you to respawn at the nearest main town in the world map. For example, if you use /spawn while fighting Unicorns, you will respawn at the respawn point in Haggleton, the closest town. 

History

Many secret passages existed before the Revelius update but were not used often due to the ease of access through the Warp Key Bag. However, they were still utilised and useful to remember. Players could travel to London or Hogsend with the click of a button on the Warp Key Bag, but now the easiest and cheapest way is with the secret passageways, once players know them of course!

Since the Revelius update and the inclusion of more locations, even more travel methods have been created.
