Cooking

Overview

Cooking is a profession that players are able to partake in on the server. The Cooking profession involves cooking different food items, which can offer players different spell buffs for a limited duration of time. Numerous mob drops and Herbology plants are needed to cook food items. Food items also have different levels, with lower level food items requiring lower level mob drops and Herbology plants, and vice versa for higher level food items. 

Foods

There are eight different types of foods that players can cook which offer various spell buffs. Each food item also has nine different levels and allows for players to either increase their damage or gain resistance against a specific magic type. Level I treats have a duration of 120 seconds and offer a +10% damage increase or resistance, Level II have a duration of 180 seconds with +15% damage increase or resistance. Level III have a duration of 240 seconds with +20% damage increase or resistance, Level IV have a duration of 300 seconds with +25% damage increase or resistance, Level V have a duration of 360 seconds with a +30% damage increase or resistance, Level VI have a duration of 420 seconds with a +35% damage increase or resistance, Level VII have a duration of 480 seconds with a +40% damage increase or resistance, Level VIII have a duration of 540 seconds with a +45% damage increase or resistance, and Level IX have a duration of 600 seconds with a +50% damage increase or resistance.

Additionally, all profession foods have a minimum level requirement that must be met in order to be cooked and consumed. 

Cooking the Food

Each food item can be made by utilising the Cooking Ovens located around the map. Cooking Ovens are located in towns as well as in the kitchens in Hogsworth. To cook the food, players need to have all the required ingredients of the food item they wish to make. Then, players can click on a Cooking Oven and select the food. The Cooking Oven will then cook the food.

Recipe List

Recipes for food items can be viewed in-game from a Cooking Oven or a Recipe Book purchased from Craftsman Mathaelda. The following tables below also display the required ingredients needed to cook each food item. These tables are categorised per level.
